Princess M had just finished watching a movie when the following converstaion took place:
Mom: M, so what movie did you watch?
M: Monsters vs Aliens.
Dad: Who won this time?
M: Monsters...again!
Dad: Well, when are the Aliens going to win?
M: Never, the monsters always win.
Mom: That doesn't seem fair.
Dad: Yeah, the monsters should learn to share and let the Aliens win now and then...
M: Daaaddd.
Dad: Would you like playing a game with someone who never lets you win...
M: Daaaaddd.
Dad: Shouldn't the Aliens get a chance to win and destroy the world sometime?
M: DAD! But then it would be PG13!

1/24/10 (on the subject of what she learned in her primary class)
M: "About how we need to follow in his (Jesus') footsteps and he lives up in the clouds, only we don't know which cloud he's on. And you need to watch out for the aliens up in the clouds too, you know, like in Chicken Little, because they're flying up there, watching us, and they could come jump down on us. They want us to follow them, but we want to follow Jesus..."
_________________________________________ M: "Mom, when I grow up, will I leave your house?"
Mom: yep.
M: (Bursting into tears) "But I want to live with you FOREVER!"
_________________________________________ 2/13/09 - We were weighing ourselves on the bathroom scale.
Mom: "Wow, M! You're getting so big! Pretty soon you'll be as big as Mommy."
M: "Yeah! And pretty soon you'll be as big as Daddy!"
